Irish Association of Snowsports Instructors
My involvement with the Spectrum of Teaching styles has evolved throughout my ski teaching career since 1986. I initially trained with the British Association of Snowsport Instructors qualifying through to their highest level and then becoming a trainer and assessor for their courses. I also helped the Irish Association of Snowsports Instructors to develop their qualification structure and content and the Spectrum of Teaching styles is an integral part of the system. I have also been a tutor for Snowsport Scotland since the mid-90s. I have been involved as a trainer, assessor, and writer of resources for all three organizations and all these organizations use the Spectrum as part of their systems. I am currently Head of Training for the Irish Association of Snowsports Instructors and was recently Head of the Irish Delegation for the Interski Congress 2011 in St. Anton, Austria. I will also be attending the next Interski Congress in Argentina in September 2015.
