NEWS / New Logo for the Spectrum of Teaching Styles July 2012
One implication the previous logo implies is that each teaching style represents a discrete chapter in a book. Although this is true; it is incomplete. The new, current logo expands our understanding of the Spectrum and highlights the interconnection and overlapping of each discrete style and emphasizes the evolution of one discrete teaching style to the next.
The smaller cluster of three individual styles represents the freedom to select a variety of styles when planning each teaching experiences. There are no application restrictions when designing a lesson--select the teaching styles or styles that most appropriately match the needs of the students, the content, the subject matter and the logistics.
