I was in PE undergraduate course at UNESP when I had my first contact with Spectrum. Fifteen years after that, I returned to the same university to teach Practicum courses to future PE teachers. Spectrum is one of the most important subjects in my classes. When you are teaching, reflecting how you will teach several contents to different students is a hard task. But, the theoretical foundation behind Spectrum makes teaching a comprehensive and logical process for students. Student-teachers under my supervision are developing their teaching plans using Spectrum as a solid structure to build their teaching strategies. Nowadays, my research seeks to explore the relationship between Spectrum and self-efficacy in PE classes and extra-curricular physical activity.
