The Mindfulness Channel refers to an individual’s search for the meaning of one’s life. For some this movement has a spiritual or religious meaning. For others it is a meditative experience that brings tranquility and a reduction of stress that allows for a closer connection with and understanding of others. For some it is a journey to live a more grateful and meaningful life. Yet for others it is a state of mind that can bring improved health. Each of us in varying stages in our life, because of challenging events, questions the value or purpose in what we are doing. The internal struggle to make sense of our lives confronts us all. That search always involves a rethinking of the attributes we have chosen to live by on each of the Developmental Channels.
The list of attributes that various teachers have infused into the classroom while teaching mindfulness will be included in an upcoming text.
