I got introduced to the spectrum during my own studies in the department of sport pedagogy at the University of Jyväskylä. I use this tool also as a lecturer of sport pedagogy when educating future PE teachers. Additionally, I have done research (e.g. Journal of Teaching in PE, 2011, Jaakkola & Watt) using spectrum as framework.
