I am passionate about physical education, physical activity and sport. As an undergraduate student, I had my first contact with the teaching styles. I then take them with my as a PE teacher and later during my PhD thesis. Afterwards, I became a University teacher, work closely with Professor Francisco Carreiro da Costa, and I start to teach future physical education teachers pedagogy and the use and importance of the spectrum of teaching styles. The spectrum applies to all education and not just PE and sport. Since my first contact, I always remain connected to these the spectrum and how it is important for teaching and learning.
