Invitation to Submit an Abstract
Dear Spectrum Colleagues,
The Spectrum Institute for Teaching and Learning (SITL) would like to invite you to submit a research abstract for a Spectrum-related research study that, if selected, would be presented (oral presentation) as part of a Spectrum symposium submission to the 2027 AIESEP International Conference (July 12-16, Eindhoven, the Netherlands). We will select 3-5 abstracts to be included as part of the Spectrum symposium submission. The cost of travel (flight) to and from Eindhoven, the Netherlands, will be covered (paid) by the SITL for one author of each abstract selected. The presenting author of each selected submission will be responsible for covering their own costs for AIESEP membership, conference registration fee, accommodations, food, etc.
If interested, please complete an abstract not to exceed 300 words within a word document blinded for review (include 3-5 keywords). In a second word document, list the title of the presentation and the names, affiliations, and email addresses of the author(s), and 3-5 keywords. Email these two documents to Rosencrantz.work@gmail.com. One abstract submission per individual.

2.Background Literature and Theoretical Framework
3.a.Data-based Research Study – Research Design and Methodologies (e.g., participants, research design, data sampling, data collection, measurement tools, data analysis)
OR
b.Theoretical or Conceptual Paper – Conceptual Ideas/Arguments
4.Findings
5.Potential to Impact the Field of Spectrum Research/Theory (significance of study)
6.Alignment of Research Study or Theoretical/Conceptual Paper with the Spectrum of Teaching Styles
7.Clarity of Writing

Submitting authors will be informed whether their abstract is selected for inclusion in the Spectrum symposium submission by October 30, 2026.
